Living in the NH Woods

Home Sweet Home in NH. 
It got so cold during the winter that when we left Mac in the bus
 we filled a crate with a sleeping bag and then placed Mac in the center. 
Housebreaking was tough. Mac would go out during the night, and then,
with snow and ice sticking to him, he would curl up against my stomach.
It was so cold the Siberian Husky wouldn't sleep on the floor.
The water in the dog bowl would freeze.
We had a long extension cord to the bus and, with a heat tape attached,
we could place it in  the refrigerator to keep a few things from freezing.
