Tuxedo, my first dog

It is my memory that I was given Tuxedo, a Miniature Poodle, for my tenth birthday.
What I really wanted was a horse. 
If it had to be a dog, I wanted a "real" dog, like a German Shepherd.
I distinctly remember taking Tux's choke chain and 
placing it around his muzzle and head, like a horse's halter.

At first his name was going to be Oliver.
Then we found a dog collar that looked like the white collar of a shirt with a bowtie.
And so he became Tuxedo.
